Rocky McKoy

Lily Milliner had a wonderful time interviewing the coordinator of Soul Factory’s Hyroglificks an open mic night for local and national artists.   Rocky is the ever evolving enigmatic personality known for his wit, creativity and zeal for Christ.  When he wanted a proper outlet for creative freedom for spirit filled artist like himself he went to the leaders of Soul Factory and Hyroglificks went from a vision to a reality.  He has a degree in Communications with a concentration in TV/Film, worked at both PBS and GMMB Inc. and now is the creative force behind The Soul Factory’s TV/Video production team.

Komplex

Komplex shared his excitement about his newest CD with Lily Milliner.  If it is anything like his performance Friday night at the Hyroglificks he shouldn't have any left right now.  His smooth oratory skills left the audience begging for more.  He is a seasoned performer that always makes time to support new artist.  While on stage that night he encouraged a somewhat apprehensive young artist (17 year old lady) to keep writing and performing because she had all the ingredients needed for greatness.  For more information see http://www.mrkeeponmoving.com/

Nicholas Kerry Gould

Lily met the Doctor of Poetry.  Nicholas is an artist unlike his peer’s; he shows his pain through laughter and understanding his transparency allows him to heal others with his moving poetry.  He has been called “Dr. Phil”, “Angry Alan Poe” and also more recently the “Poetry Therapist.”  Nicholas is a man who will keep you laughing and loving to live life in his shoes.  He can heal a man and give them confidence through his words no matter how little they are and it comes easy to him.  Visit www.myspace.com/koli_jackson for more info.

Eric Dolford aka “Water”

Lily spoke to Eric Dolford aka “Water”.  He calls himself the prodigal son that returned from a life of hell to share his testimony to all who would listen.  He blew everyone away with his powerful lyrics at the Soul Factory’s Hyroglificks event.  With lyrics put together from the power of God’s word, flowing on the mic letting the living water run that others might have life. He began to deliver the message of hope to all that attended the event.  He can be contacted at edolford@yahoo.com
